1. When was the first time that you remember realizing that you are a creative person?
When
I would play my fathers guitar as a child and my family would ask me to play songs for the family.
2.
When did you know that this was what you wanted to do with your life? How did you get started?
When
we moved to Los Angeles 8 years ago from Argentina we came with that dream. We started playing on the
prominade and starting selling our CD's. We were then getting offered gigs around Santa Monica.
3.
What traits, if any, do you think that creative people have as compared to people who are not creative?
We
don't have the fear to be different or to just do whats on our mind, sometimes the most amazing idea is the one that is
ridiculed the most. If you have the mind set that allows you to see the idea till the end regardless, then your creativity
comes to life.
4. Do believe that your training has influenced what you create?
In
a way yes, because we were born in Argentina and a lot of our music is inspired from there. Now that we live
in Los Angeles our music has explored into other avenues as we welcome new band members with different backgrounds in music.
5. Have you ever felt that your personal expectations have limited your creativity? If so, how have you dealt with
this?
No, we try not have expectations, its part of letting the music move through us.
6. Have other people supported or inspired you? Please explain.
Many have supported us. We
moved here together as a band. Adrian's brother is also a musician and so together we are what we have become. We
continue to be each others inspiration and together we add to each others vision.
7. How have you
dealt with any criticism you have gotten because of your creative endeavors?
We guess we've alsways been
seen as people who go against the current so we don't affense to it. If its constructive criticism then we
take it and learn from it to make my work better.
8. Do you ever feel that you have to censor your creativity
because you don't want to offend anyone?
No.
9. Do you do anything special to get your
"creative juices" flowing? Please explain.
We like to have jam session where random people come
and bring something different to the table and that usually inspires us to play something different.
10.
Does your work convey a specific emotion or message?
Yes, when we write our lyrics that tell stories about
our lives.
11. If you could be any object, what would you be? Why?
I would be a guitar
so I can speak in my language.
12. What are your words of wisdom for someone starting out in your field?
Follow what fulfills your soul because many are left hollow.
